These are some illustrations of the "Modern Classics" collection´s second book: "The seven little goats".

CLASICOS MODERNOS 1

Una nueva colección llamada "Clásicos Modernos" será lanzada por la editorial SM durante este mes.
Tres libros de tapa dura escritos por Luísa Villar Liébana e ilustrados por mí. El primer título es "Hansel y Sara".

A new collection named "Modern Classics" will be released by SM during this month.
Three hardcover books writing by Luisa Villar Líébana and illustrated by me. The first title is "Hansel and Sara".

LAS CRONICAS DE ONO Y HOP

Mi próximo álbum "Las crónicas de Ono y Hop" será publicado por "Dibbuks" a finales de Noviembre.
El libro es una completa recopilación de todas las páginas de Ono y Hop publicadas durante los últimos años, y algunas nuevas, hechas especialmente para esta edición".
El álbum también incluye todas las ilustraciones de los mismos personajes (portadas de revistas, pinturas para exposiciones, trabajos personales...) y un gran número de bocetos inéditos.

My next album "The Ono and Hop Chronicles" will be published by "Dibbuks" at the end of November.
The book is a complete compilation of all the Ono and Hop comic pages published during the
last years and some new material, done for this edition.
The book also includes all the colors illustrations of the same characters ( magazine covers, paintings for exhibitions, personal works...) and a great number of never seen sketches.

PROYECTO NUEVO CENTRO

Para celebrar el aniversario de un popular centro comercial, Mac Diego ( un conocido diseñador Valenciano ) tuvo
una idea: decorar algunas esculturas blancas con el trabajo de un grupo de ilustradores.
La estatua representa una variación estilizada de un antiguo rey español.
Podéis ver aquí mi diseño original y la pieza final, en el taller y en la cabalgata.

For celebrate the anniversary of a popular Mall, Mac Diego ( a very well know Valencian designer) has an idea: to decorate some white sculptures with the works of a group of illustrators.
The statue represents a stylized variation of a real ancient Spanish King.
You can see here my original design and the final piece, in the workshop and on the parade.

AVANTCOMIC

Durante dos días, seis autores de historieta (de Francia: Iván Alagbé, Marco Turunen y Paz Böira y de
España : Manolo Hidalgo, Sonia Pulido y yo) estuvimos trabajando juntos, invitados por el "Instituto Francés" en Madrid.
La propuesta: trabajar en un tebeo juntos, por parejas. La idea: el concepto "El mundo al revés".
Yo hice dos páginas, inspiradas por una ilustración de Marko. Marko hizo lo mismo inspirado por una mía.
Podéis ver los resultados de este taller en el "Instituto Francés" hasta el 19 de Octubre.

During two two days, six comics artist ( from France: Iván Alagbé, Marko Turunen, Paz Böira and from Spain: Manolo Hidalgo, Sonia Pulido and myself) were working together, invited by the "French Institute" in Madrid.
The proposition: work in a comic together, each two of us. The idea: the "upside down world".
I did a two pages comic, inspired by a Marko´s illustration I like. Marko did the same with one of my images.

Buscando otra cosa me he encontrado con esto: uno de mis trabajos favoritos de uno de mis temas preferidos: los piratas.
Estas ilustraciones pertenecen a un libro titulado "Tadeo, aprendiz de pirata" que fué publicado por EVEREST hace algún tiempo.

Looking some other thing I found this: one of my favourite works of one of my favourite theme: the pirates.
This illustrations belongs to a book named "Tadeo, Amateur Pirate" and was published by EVEREST some time ago.

Mi guerrero ganó el primer torneo FACA, pero perdió frente a NEUTERER, el mítico guerrero creado por Sam.
Heartshield dice adiós, por el momento.


Heartshield was created to fight in the Sam Hiti" "Fist a Cuffs" blog.
My warrior won the first FACA tourney, but loose in the figth against NEUTERER, the Migthy Warrior created by Sam.
Heartshield says goodbay, by the moment.

HISTORIETAS SOBRE ARTE

La primera página es una de las tres que he hecho para el número dos de la revista "El Manglar". Trata sobre Ilya Kabákov, un artista contemporáneo ruso.
Esta historieta pertenece a un proyecto en el que vengo trabajando ultimamente: una serie de historias cortas sobre arte y artistas. Casi todas ellas están escritas por Santiago García. Podéis ver aquí la primera página de "Una breve historia del arte marginal" y una página de "Amanecer Nuclear".

Is about Ilya Kabákov a russian contemporary artist.
This comic belongs to a project I´m working now: a series of shorts storys about art and artist. Almost of this comics writing by Santiago García.

MEXICO

Esta ilustración ha sido encargada por el"Centro Cultural de
España en México".
Mi trabajo y el de otros cuatro ilustradores más podrá verse en el mismo centro en México D.F. en
una exposición que durará tres meses.

This Illustration was commissioned by"Spanish Cultural
Center in Mexico".
The works of other four illustrators and mine will show in the same
center, in Mexico D.F. during the three months exhibition.
