MI EXPOSICIÓN EN "LA NUEZ"

Jose Antonio Vilca, uno de los chicos responsables del excelente blog peruano "La Nuez" estuvo en Madrid la pasada semana, visitó mi exposición y tomó cientos de fotos. Aquí en el blog podéis ver el post y aquí las fotos.

CAMPUS

Hegel, Nikola Tesla y Aleister Crowley, tres personajes diferentes para tres artículos del suplemento "Campus" del periódico "El Mundo".

TAZAS SOLIDARIAS

El pasado fin de semana estuve en Cáceres invitado por el "17 Festival de Cine Solidario de Cáceres" .El motivo es que hice una ilustración, basada en una película española, para una de sus "tazas solidarias". Elegí "AZULOSCUROCASINEGRO" de Daniel Sánchez Arévalo. Los otros cinco ilustradores invitados eran Juan Berrio, Ed, Clara Tanit, Alberto Vázquez y Pepo Perez.

Last weekend I went to Cáceres invited by the "17th. Solidarity Movies Festival" . I made an illustration for a mug: a drawing based on a spanish movie. I chose "AZULOSCUROCASINEGRO" a film by Daniel Sanchez Arévalo.
The others five illustrators invited are Juan Berrio, Ed, Clara Tanit, Alberto Vázquez and Pepo Perez

10 LIBROS ILUSTRADOS

El próximo Jueves 4 de Febrero inauguro una exposición titulada "JAVIER OLIVARES. 10 LIBROS ILUSTRADOS". He escogido para esta ocasión 10 de mis libros favoritos, tanto de ilustración infantil como álbumes de historieta, y expondré material diverso de cada uno de ellos: bocetos, originales y cuadernos de trabajo. Se podrá ver hasta el próximo 23 de Abril en Madrid.

Next Friday, February 4th, I'll hold an exhibition entitled "JAVIER OLIVARES. 10 ILLUSTRATED BOOKS".
I have chosen for this occasion ten of my favourite books, illustrated as well as comic books, and I will show a wide range of materials from each: preparatory designs, originals and sketchbooks.

El "Cagatió" es una antigua tradición catalana. Estas navidades podéis ver una exposición colectiva sobre ello en la librería "Abracadabra", organizada por la gente de "Ilustation".Esta es mi ilustración para esta exposición. Podéis ver mucha información y fotos sobre este evento aquí y aquí.

The "Cagatió" is an ancient catalan tradition. This christmas you can see a collective exhibition about it in the "Abracadabra" book shop, organizad by the people of "Ilustation". This is my illustration for it. You can check a lot of information and photos of this event here and here.

CALENDARIO COESIA

Cada año, la empresa italiana COESIA publica un calendario con doce ilustradores de todo el mundo. Este año, España era el país invitado y Pablo Amargo, Arnal Ballester, Luci Gutierrez, Javier Serrano, Pep Montserrat, Javier Zabala, Ajubel, Elena Odriozola, Carmen Segovia, Isidro Ferrer, Cesar Fernández Arias y yo mismo hemos sido los ilustradores. Este es mi trabajo: "Octubre: Seguridad en el transporte".


Each year, the Italian company COESIA make a calendar with twelve illustrators of all the world.
This year Spain was the guest country and Pablo Amargo, Arnal Ballester, Luci Gutierrez, Javier Serrano, Pep Montserrat, Javier Zabala, Ajubel, Elena Odriozola, Carmen Segovia, Isidro Ferrer, Cesar Fernández Arias and myself are the illustrators.
