Una ilustración hecha por encargo de Spider, un antiguo personaje de la editorial inglesa "Fleetway" creado en los primeros años 60.

A Spider Commission Illustration. Spider is a old "Fleetway Publisher" character, created in the early 60,s.

Esta es la página de cómic que he dibujado, con guión de Santiago García, para una exposición llamada "El Humor en 13 Lecciones" dentro del proyecto  PERIFERIAS de este año. La exposición ha sido comisariada por Bernardo Vergara.

This is the comic page I draw, writing by Santiago García , for a exhibition named "El Humor en 13 Lecciones" inside the  2012 PERIFERIAS PROJECT. The comisary of this Exhibition was Bernardo Vergara.

PATRIA COMÚN

Ésta es mi contribución al proyecto "PATRIA COMÚN". Un grupo de ilustradores (Violeta Lópiz, Pablo Amargo, Emilio Urberuaga, Claudia Ranucci, Arnal Ballester, Elena Odriozola, Mónica Gutiérrez Serna, Oscar Villán, Ajubel, Antonio Santos, Raquel Marín, Noemí Villamuza, Pablo Auladell, Alberto Gamon y yo mismo) hemos puesto imágenes a algunas de las novelas de Miguel Delibes. La idea era ilustrar las visiones de la infancia a lo largo de las novelas de este escritor.

This is my contribution to "PATRIA COMÚN" Project. A group of illustrators (Violeta Lópiz, Pablo Amargo, Emilio Urberuaga, Claudia Ranucci, Arnal Ballester, Elena Odriozola, Mónica Gutiérrez Serna, Oscar Villán, Ajubel, Antonio Santos, Raquel Marín, Noemí Villamuza, Pablo Auladell, Alberto Gamon and myself) put the images to some of the books of Miguel Delibes. The idea was illustrate the vision of childhood all along this writer´s career.

LOS ANIMALES PREHISTÓRICOS

El próximo 10 de Octubre, "Cameo" pone a la venta la "Edición Especial" del DVD de "Diamond Flash", la película de Carlos Vermut. La caja contiene además un libro colectivo de historietas basadas en la película, realizadas por Manuel Bartual, Enrique Lorenzo, Puño, Mireia Pérez, David Sánchez, Jorge Morlongo, John Tones, Pepo Perez, Paco Alcázar , Didac Alcaraz, Carlos de Diego, Miguel B. Nuñez, Guillermo Mongorrón y David Rubin. Yo he dibujado una historieta titulada "Los Animales Prehistóricos" con guión de Santiago García.

Next October 10.th, "Cameo" release the "Diamond Flash Special Edition DVD"the first Carlos Vermut´s film . The box contains a  collective comic book with stories based in the movie made by a group of comic artists like Manuel Bartual, Enrique Lorenzo, Puño, Mireia Pérez, David Sánchez, Jorge Morlongo, John Tones, Pepo Perez, Paco Alcázar , Didac Alcaraz, Carlos de Diego, Miguel B. Nuñez, Guillermo Mongorrón and David Rubin. I did a history writing by Santiago García, named "The Prehistorical Animals".

EXPOSICIÓN de EL PERRO DE BASKERVILLE

El próximo Martes 2 inauguro en la librería "TIPOS INFAMES", una exposición de los originales del libro EL PERRO DE BASKERVILLE, editado por "Nórdica".

Next Thursday 2th, I´ll open a exhibition of all the artwork I made for THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLE book in "TIPOS INFAMES" library, in Madrid.

XII SEMANA INTERNACIONAL DE CINE FANTÁSTICO DE LA COSTA DEL SOL

Next Monday, I will be in Estepona on the occasion of the " XII Semana Internacional del Cine Fantástico de la Costa del Sol". This year, the contest is dedicated to Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde, so an exhibition has been organized with originals of "EL EXTRAÑO CASO DEL DR. JEKYLL Y MR. HYDE", the comic book Santiago García and myself made for Editorial SM. As part of the activities of the Week, I will also receive the Award to the "Best illustrator of 2012" given by the Festival.

El próximo Lunes 24 estaré en Estepona, donde se celebra la " XII Semana Internacional del Cine Fantástico de la Costa del Sol". Este año el certamen está dedicado el Dr Jekyll y Mr. Hyde y con ese motivo se ha organizado una exposición de originales del tebeo "El extraño caso del Dr. Jekyll y Mr. Hyde", que hicimos Santiago García y yo para la editorial SM. Dentro de las actividades de la semana también recogeré el "Premio al mejor dibujante del 2012" que otorga el festival.

TOBERMORY

Este es el nombre del gato protagonista en el cuento de Saki que he ilustrado para este pequeño libro colectivo, que será publicado por NÓRDICA próximamente. Cuatro historias de gatos ilustradas por Ana Juan, Adolfo Serra, Elena Ferrándiz y yo.

 This is the name of the starring cat in the Saki´s short story I illustrated for this little collective book, published soon by NÓRDICA. Four cat´s stories illustrated by Ana Juan, Adolfo Serra, Elena Ferrándiz and myself.

PRISIONEROS EN LA "SEMANA NEGRA"

El próximo Domingo 8, Fernando Marías y yo estaremos presentando nuestro libro "Prisioneros de Zenda" en Gijón. Un acto programado dentro del festival "Semana Negra". Estos son el póster de la presentación y cuatro imágenes promocionales de cada uno de los relatos que componen el libro.

Next Sunday 8 I´ll be in Gijón ( during the "Semana Negra Festival") with Fernando Marias, talking about our last book "Prisioneros de Zenda". This are the poster of the show and four promotional images I did of each short story included in the book.

Ya está disponible "Prisioneros de Zenda"el libro que hemos hecho Fernando Marías y yo. Publicado por SM, este libro totalmente ilustrado contiene cuatro relatos escritos por Fernando e ilustrados por mí:
"La Redención del Pirata Perrosangre", "El Ángel de las Noches Muertas", El Prisionero de la Cárcel del Olvido" y "Xekt y las Sombras". Este libro es nuestro tributo, nuestra carta de amor a esas clásicas aventuras que nos fascinaban cuando éramos más jóvenes.

"Prisioneros de Zenda", the book made by Fernando Marías and myself is avalaible now. Published by SM, this fully illustrated book contains four short stories illustrated by me and writting by Fernando: "La Redención del Pirata Perrosangre", "El Ángel de las Noches Muertas", El Prisionero de la Cárcel del Olvido" and "Xekt y las Sombras". This book is our tribute, our love letter to classical adventures who we love when we were young.
